This blog is built with zola using its own tera templating engine. (why?)
All HTML and CSS, including the tera templates, have been designed from scratch.
Code editing happens in VSCodium.
The posts are drafted in Obsidian.
I am not using any generative "AI" services to write posts or code. I am not hosting images generated by "AI".
The server is hosted in Germany by Windcloud, powered by rebuildable energies.
Finally, I am tracking page views using goatcounter. To me, this provides a good balance of user privacy (for you) and server stats (for me). These stats allow me to identify broken links, or popular posts. Mainly though, it's just motivating to see that people are visiting this site.
